bombs, airstrikes, bullets, hunger and fear has shattered the childhoods of children in Gaza.

In Gaza, Save the Children staff like Samar*, Amir*, and Maryam* are not only enduring unimaginable hardship but are also risking their lives to deliver life-saving aid. Maryam, a young mother with a son, shares the reality of displacement: “All of us are squeezed into one room, but it is better than staying in an unsafe place. We left everything behind to protect our children.”

Seven-year-old Nana, Amir’s daughter, clings to her father during terrifying bombing raids, whispering, “Baba, I’m not afraid, just nervous.” Samar, a mother of three, describes the unbearable challenges: “We don’t have clean water or basic food. Bathing has become a luxury, but I must stay strong for my children and for those we’re helping.”

Even in the face of such devastation, these brave parents and staff continue to deliver food, clean water, and medical care to families in need. But they cannot do it alone. They need your help.

Your donation today can empower Samar, Amir, Maryam, and their colleagues to keep saving lives in the midst of this unimaginable crisis.

PLEASE DONATE NOW TO CHILDREN IN GAZA AND AROUND THE WORLD, WHERE THE NEEDS ARE greatest AND MOST URGENT.

1 in 6 children lives in a conflict zone. And every year, hundreds of thousands of children die from the effects of war – such as violence, malnutrition, disease and cut off access to health care and water. Donate now and help us be there for children living in crisis in Gaza and across the world.

OUR RESPONSE

For the past year, Save the Children has been working tirelessly, with local partners, to provide emergency support and help pick up the shattered pieces of children’s lives. We’re doing everything possible to provide lifesaving food, water, healthcare and safe places for children to play and learn. But the ongoing siege and restrictions on delivering aid have made this extremely challenging. The situation remains dire, and it is crucial that the siege is lifted, and all crossings are opened to ensure that lifesaving aid reaches those in need.

OUR IMPACT

  1. Save the Children continues to support lifesaving services and interventions for children and their families in Gaza with health, nutrition, and WASH, child protection and learning, and food distributions and multi-purpose cash assistance. We are currently working with communities across 49 locations.
  2. Despite the severe obstacles that hinder a meaningful humanitarian response, our teams and local partners are delivering essential supplies and services while advocating for an immediate and definitive ceasefire and unimpeded humanitarian access. We stand ready to scale-up our support to children as soon as we are able to safely.
  3. Apart from Gaza, we're also helping in the West Bank, where we've supported families facing increased settler violence by providing emergency cash and running child protection activities. In Egypt, we've ensured access to essential supplies, supported medical evacuees from Gaza, and trained first responders. In Lebanon, we've assisted displaced individuals by providing clean water, food, hygiene products, and mental health support.

Please donate now. Your support will help us keep delivering this lifesaving support and rebuild shattered childhoods.
