Pakistan is once again facing an unprecedented monsoon season which has started from June 2025 with heavy rains across Punjab, Kashmir, and northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As of early September, the floods have caused almost one million people, including children, to be evacuated from their homes in Punjab. The floods have disrupted education for almost all school aged children in the province.

Over 800 people have lost their lives, including more than 200 children and over 1,000 more people have been injured.

CHILDREN ARE AMONG THE MOST VULNERABLE IN THE FLOODS.

YOUR $120 can provide a family with a shelter tent

Save the Children is already responding: We are deploying contingency stocks of essential supplies, including food, medicines and temporary shelters

We are providing temporary learning spaces so children can continue their education. In the hardest-hit districts like Buner and Shangla, we are offering health services, including care for children experiencing trauma.  So far, we have distributed hygiene and household kits, including blankets and mosquito nets, to 600 families across Buner, Shangla, and Swat.  We are also helping schools create safe spaces for children to recover and working to identify those who are unaccompanied or separated from their parents and families.

HELP US URGENTLY DONATING TO OUR CHILD EMERGENCY FUND. You will ensure we can respond quickly to the flooding and future crises, reaching children with lifesaving assistance when it matters most.
