Human Rights Day

In collaboration with National Human Rights Commission (NCHR), we reaffirm children's rights to dignity, protection, and opportunity in Mozambique. Workshop – Girls Decide Approach

Between 10 and 14 November 2025, Save the Children held a workshop based on the 'Girls Decide' approach as part of the ECHO CP project to empower girls in migration and displacement contexts. Hatay’da yaşayan doğuştan albinizmli olan 10 yaşındaki Huma* ve ailesi, 2023 yılında Türkiye’de meydana gelen yıkıcı depremlerin ardından birçok aile gibi hayatlarını yeniden kurmak için büyük zorluklar yaşadı. Huma görme engelinin getirdiği zorlukların yanı sıra, dış görünüşü nedeniyle sürekli olarak zorbalığa maruz kaldı. Tüm bu zorluklara rağmen, onun hikayesi güç, dayanıklılık ve kapsamlı bir insani yardım müdahalesinin dönüştürücü gücünü yansıtıyor. Save the Children’ın ihtiyaçlarına özel olarak sunduğu destekler sayesinde, Huma ve ailesi hayatlarında yeniden bir istikrar ve güven duygusu kazanabildi.
